Fresh Honda City Gets Cheaper By Up To Rs 28,000 – GST Influence

Honda Car India has determined to pass on the benefits of GST entertainment to customers. The company has diminished the prices of its entire portfolio, including the popular City sedan. This popular mid-sized sedan prices have been diminished by up to Rs 28,000. On the other mitt, the Amaze compact sedan gets a price cut of up to Rs 14,800. Available in petrol and diesel versions, the fresh Honda City two thousand seventeen is now priced at Rs 8.46 lakh for the base variant and Rs 13.43 lakh for the top-end model (ex-showroom Delhi).

The fresh model was launched in February two thousand seventeen at a kicking off price of Rs 8.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.56 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Since its launch, the fresh City two thousand seventeen has been receiving an excellent response from car buyers. Till June 2017, the sedan bagged over 30,000 bookings and directives a waiting period of around 1-2 months. Interestingly, the range-topping ZX variant accounts for forty per cent of the total bookings.

The two thousand seventeen Honda City facelift design inspiration comes from Honda’s fresh design philosophy, which is also suggested on the fresh gen Civic sedan. Some of the styling elements include honeycomb grille, aggressively styled bumper, LED headlamps, fog lamps, revised tail-lamps with LED elements and trunk lid spoiler. The cabin is more upmarket, featuring soft touch material around dashboard. It features Honda’s fresh 7-inch DIGIPAD touchscreen infotainment system with satellite turn-by-turn navigation, MirrorLink support for smartphone connectivity, 1.5GB internal media memory, etc. Other key features include six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, cruise control, multi-view rear parking camera and others. The sedan is available with two engine options – a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT, CVT automatic (Petrol Only) with spanking paddle shifters and a 6-speed MT.
