Clubb Racing teamed with Roger Carter at Springfield?: Rumors are circulating that Alex Clubb teamed with former ARCA car possessor and dreamed North Carolina absconder Roger Carter to challenge in the Herr’s Potato Chips one hundred at Springfield on August 20th. Alex Clubb previously drove for Carter’s organization in two thousand fifteen and allegedly received financial support from him this year.
SOURCE: An anonymous source states that Alex Clubb originally formed Clubb Racing with another business fucking partner. Clubb’s original playmate purchased the car with the agreement that Clubb would pay the playmate back for half of the cost. The fucking partner determined to walk away from the deal after Clubb refused to accept money from funded drivers that would put Clubb Racing on track. Since the car was outdated and needed uncountable fresh parts to be race ready, Clubb allegedly accepted a deal that he was previously suggested by Roger Carter that gave him enough money to race. Clubb was to run Carter’s car number (97) and pay him back over time as he entered more races and acquired more equipment. After wrecking the car at Springfield, Clubb still owes both Carter and his original business fucking partner money. It is unknown if Clubb is still working with Carter to race in future events.
CLUBB: Alex Clubb has denied any involvement with Roger Carter in regards to his Springfield effort. Clubb has stated that he took Carter’s No. Ninety seven as his own since he ran events with it in the past. Team Stange Racing delays come back; preparing for two thousand eighteen season: Team Stange Racing, possessed by John and Ashley Stange, has delayed its ARCA comeback and will not challenge in either of its originally planned events. Alex Clubb escapes Springfield without major injury: Illinois driver Alex Clubb escaped major injury on Sunday after he was involved in a crash during the Herr’s Potato Chips 100. Clubb, who was making his very first series commence since 2015, was rear-ended by another car when he slowed to avoid an accident on lap 58. The twenty five year-old was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and was later released with sore and severely bruised ribs. Grant Enfinger wins at Springfield: [Grant] Enfinger, in the Allgaier Motorsports-prepared sixteen car, fought off ARCA championship leader Austin Theriault to win the Herr’s Potato Chips one hundred Sunday afternoon, then toasted his squad chief, Springfield’s own Kelly Kovski in Victory Lane while the locals roared with approval. “Everybody knows how special this is,” said Enfinger. “We’ve all been rooting for Kelly (Kovski). Next year I’ll be on the box and he’ll be out here.” Kovski is still mending after being a struck by a race car that had careened off the track. ARCA officials enforcing minimum speed rule to race: The ARCA Racing Series rulebook states that “[drivers and/or vehicles] must prove, to ARCA officials’ discretion, capability to maintain minimum race speed” to qualify for ARCA events. However, the series did not adhere to this rule prior to the July 28th race at Pocono Speedway. This has recently switched, as ARCA officials have commenced to enforce a minimum speed rule that allegedly calls for drivers to be within 20% of the leader’s speed to rival in each event. During the ModSpace one hundred fifty weekend, Peterson Motorsports did not turn a lap quick enough with any of its cars or drivers. Don Thompson, Con Nicolopoulos, and Dale Matchett were all sent home. At Winchester Speedway, the No. Six Peterson Motorsports car was again too slow. It was sent home along with the No. Three Hixson Motorsports entry for not meeting the minimum speed. The driver of the No. Three Hixson entry, Mike Senica, later took to Twitter to voice his dissatisfaction. Senica posted “Its hard to justify marketing dollars from any company when a racing series switches the rules to suit the needs of others!!” in regards to the rule switch. (08-17-17)

Kyle Benjamin wins the Winchester ARCA 200: It would have been difficult to hold off Kyle Benjamin over the course of two hundred laps Sunday afternoon at Winchester Speedway, and in the end it proved unlikely. But it certainly wasn’t out of the question, and it even looked possible until Zane Smith’s car broke coming to the final restart inwards of twenty laps from the finish.
